Stories do more than capture attention. They shape how people understand ideas, connect with one another, and decide what matters. In this webinar, participants will explore how individuals and organizations can use narrative to communicate purpose and move team members toward action.
Emily Magera is a 2025 TEDx Sioux Falls speaker, communication specialist, and fine arts educator based in South Dakota. Her experience spans research and strategic communication, including work as a background actor on major film and television productions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Theatre from the University of Sioux Falls and a master’s degree in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University.
Drawing from communication theory and her experiences on the stage and behind the scenes, Emily will introduce a practical framework for crafting and delivering compelling stories that create impact. Participants will leave with strategies for treating storytelling as a leadership tool that can clarify messages, amplify value, and help people and organizations move from the background into the spotlight.
